I’m just a small-town boy from the south who always had big dreams with his eyes on New York City.
I hadn’t even been here before, but I knew it was where I wanted to be, for whatever reason. A few years ago, I never thought I’d be a Brooklyn townhouse broker, but that is becoming a huge part of my business.
Maybe they are relocating to your market, they are upgrading because finances are great, they are downgrading because finances are tough, or they are empty nesters, growing families, splitting families, and everything in between. We need to look, sound, and act the part that the buyer or seller is hiring for.
The home is such a personal investment, and it can be highly emotional. Sometimes we go on amazing tours and see incredible homes, feeling certain that we have found “the one,” only to never hear from the buyer again.
