This only irritated me because he didn't really ask, he just decided. But the best part of the night was right before I went to bed (he was staying on the couch): He asked me if I should change my pad.

I've met a few that were interesting, some pretty bad..1 grossly misrepresented her pictures which were obviously from many years ago, 1 that had some good potential but she unexpectedly "disappeared" on me after talking on the phone/email for a month and then meeting up twice (see my "is disappearing appropriate" thread ) Have people actually developed any meaningful relationships from this website? I have never been on any dating site ever because I regard it as a complete waste of time and money. Everybody loves dancing and camping, everybody is tired of the "game", everybody is not a big fan of the bar thing, everybody looks for loyal, honest individual with a sense of humor.

It seems with the constant flow of matches people are just flaky and just want to keep their options open for something better...a never ending cycle. I can't even begin to tell you the number of matches I had (enormous), have talked to only a handful on there, and NEVER had an actual real life date from the site. No wonder do they end up so lonely and desperate that they have to resort to a web site for them to find dates.

I suppose it could happen, but it is way better to find dating possibilities through activities where you can spend time around a person while doing things you actually like.k374....

I hear you just have to be patient when it comes to e Harmony. I used to be a member of that site, had a few exchanges....

A lot of people who met the loves of their lives on that site had to encounter just as many flakes and whackjobs. I think one stumbling block is that there are going to be a lot of matches that are out of your first choice of distance range.

But some people have made it work when they gave these far away matches a chance. This was around 18 months ago, and he still messages me from time to time with a "hey," or my favourite, "I miss you." Met a guy who seemed to be decent. We went to see a movie, and he kept talking about my feet — how "beautiful and sexy" he thought they were. " Later, during the movie, he asked if he could suck on my toes. I excused myself to go to the restroom and just walked straight out the door and left him in the theater. He wasn't supposed to stay the night, but he lived 45 minutes away, it had snowed earlier, and I lived in a very rural area with a lot of hills and curves. So he decided he was going to stay that night instead of driving home. The whole thing is contrived Yep, reading the profiles which all are "carbon copies" of each other is pretty damn funny.
